Now, especially is the time to let people shop and curate options for you to still purchase without leaving your home and an EverEve Trendsend box is top of mind.
Before the notion of Staying Home and Sheltering in Place, I decided to try out the Trendsend Subscription Box. If I would have known then (beginning of March 2020) what was coming, I may have been a little more serious about it.
Evereve Trendsend Box Review
How Much is a Trendsend Box?
After your first box, the Trendsend Box will cost you a $20 styling fee per box. So worth it when the clothes you receive are this good. Trendsend works for every budget, depending on the amount of boxes you want and what types of items you like to receive. In general, you’ll receive 6-8 items, all within your budget, and all chosen by a Evereve stylist just for you. All this with free shipping, too!
Since the shelter in place, I have received an additional box, which was equally as good as the first.
In a nutshell, you can create an account on trendsend.com and then tell your stylist what you like and what you don’t of the items they carry in the store, and they curate a box for you. When creating an account, you have the ability to decide how often you want the box. You can choose Monthly, Every Other Month, Every Quarter, or On Demand. I selected Every Quarter to start. When you set up your account, you also do a style profile which helps the stylists pick complete outfits for you to fit your personal style. They also will pick things that may be a bit out of your comfort zone, but I ALWAYS find the stylist was right to pick it for me! Before shipping, they charge a $20 styling fee to your account which is counted towards any items you decide to purchase.
It arrives at your doorstep along with a note from your stylist, and outfit instructions. You try everything on and have a few days to log in and pay for or decline what you don’t like. The package comes with a prepaid return envelope and you return the items you don’t like and keep the rest.
Before we get too much further, I should let you know I’ve sprinkled affiliate links throughout this post. I also have included a referral link for you to sign up to get your first Trendsend style box, you will receive 20% off of EVERY item you keep!
If you use any of the links, I will receive a small commission in which I do a happy dance because that means you like what I’m sharing too 🙂
The ladies always do such a nice job of packaging!
Every time you receive a Trendsend, it will look like this, which is amazing!
I love how they put the outfits in each package so there’s no guess work as to what goes together.
Another detail I love about EverEve is each staff member is a trained stylist. So they will help you with your fit, with what styles look good on what body types, and even pick out things for you you may not have thought would work on you. They offer the style services in store, online, over the phone, or in the Trendsend boxes.
And each sticker they package the outfits in is inspirational and totally on brand!
Below is my box, and I will tell you what I kept and what I didn’t. If you wanted to purchase these items individually, you can do so as well, not just in the boxes
****All items are linked below, and here, if you just want to see them for yourself.****
The first outfit was this pair of Sophie Cropped Skinny Jeans from Agolde, this cami from Cloth & Stone, and this cute cardigan from Peyton Jensen.
I opted to return the jeans because I have a ton of them, but also because it is about to be summer here in AZ. I kept the cardigan and cami.
Next outfit was this super comfy camo skirt from Sundry and this muscle tank from Spiritual Gangster.
I kept both of these pieces because they are super versatile and perfect for summer and momlife.
These Agolde Parker shorts came next, and they are absolutely a must for summer! This Michael Stars tie dye tank was the top paired with it.
Of course I was keeping both of these! I sized up to a 30 in the shorts because of my thighs but the waist could have totally stayed my normal size of 29.
This puff sleeve sweater from Allison Joy was the last item in my box, and it was meant to pair with any of the outfits. When I say this sweater is a must, I wear it at least once a week! It’s so comfy!
And yes, I obviously kept it!
Here are the options from my second box, which I received the beginning of June.
The first outfit was this blue Peyton Jensen tie dye dress, Kut from the Kloth white jacket, and pink lace bra. I have the pink version of the dress so I didn’t think I would keep this one, but realized it was different. It’s so soft and has pockets too!
I wanted to see if the dress came in a smaller size, but it wasn’t in stock. So I ended up keeping it anyways. I returned the jacket as I already have 2 white jackets and it’s already way too hot here to keep another! In addition, I also returned the bra as it didn’t fit me the best way, and if I sized up, it would be too big.
Next outfit was this 3 piece Sundry pink lounge set, that is perfect together or as separate pieces! I do love that in each of the boxes, I always get a comfy outfit! Because, I love to wear these for lounging and sometimes to bed.
I’m wearing a 1 in the tops (equals a small) but probably could have returned the shorts for a bigger size which I’m wearing in a 2 (equal to a medium).
So I decided to keep all 3 of these pieces because the fabric is a bit stretchy, so they will be perfect!
The last outfit is one that I wouldn’t normally pick for myself.
Rompers are sometimes hard for me because I’m 2 different sizes in top and bottom. I live for a form fitting outfit, but I want it to be consistent not one or the other if that makes sense. Both the cardigan and the romper are from Peyton Jensen. The cardi is lightweight but does keep you warm in the cool air conditioned indoors. In addition, the romper has smocking, which gives me the waist that I do have, which sometimes is hard to come by in these outfits.
In the end, I decided to keep the cardigan and am exchanging the Medium size for the Large to ensure it fits my booty and thighs better. I hope it still fits in the top!
A few of the other brands EverEve carries are Level 99, Michael Stars, Spiritual Gangster, AG, 7 For All Mankind, Sam Edelman, and P448.
If this service seems new and foreign to you, think about the Stitch Fix boxes.
I personally have never ordered an outfit from Stitch Fix let alone a whole box, but I believe the customer service here is a bit higher. I personally have met and talked with my Stylist, and we are friends on Instagram. I’m not sure that other companies can say the same thing.
This seems like a pivot and another offering that will continue to do well for a long time coming. I look forward to seeing more businesses and companies doing something similar in the near future.
Here are the items you can shop individually. If you want to sign up for Trendsend, you can do that here.
As an added bonus, most of these items are now on sale! If you want to see what else I found from EverEve and Trendsend, you can find that here.
